Cooking Mama seems like a favorite for ages young and old, as well as the classic Wii Sports games.

Different people need different games,
if you like thinking, and action, Zelda and or Metroid corrupiton is a great game for you, and it takes a lot of time, you can play that game for hours.
If you like to have fun, and just play game you can play anythime you want, get Mario party eight, Wario ware, all that mini game fun stuff,
if you like both of those, get Mario galaxy, very fun, and thinking game
good luck on the hunt!!

well, it depends on what you like or what the person thinks about it. I’m personally an RPG and platformer fan, that’s why I’d recommend Super Mario Galaxy (it has been classified as the best game for the Wii of this year) which includes a very interesting gameplay, such as combining 2-D and 3-D, defiance towards gravity, and others; also I’d reccomend Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party if you like very active and group games; Smash Bros. Brawl seems promising as a fighting/ role playing game; Mario Kart Wii is going to be a strong title next year too; SSX Blur is a good snowboarding game, though I personally prefer SSX Tricky, a previous version of the game. In the end, what matters most is to focus on the style of games you like.

-Metal of Honor: Heroes 2
-Metroid Prime 3
-Super Paper Mario
-Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
-SSX Blur
