Unauthorized COPYING, REPRODUCTION, rental, public performance, or broadcast of copyrighted games is a violation of applicable laws.
I don`t know about the UK, but that`s how it is in the US.
Anyways, like I said before, no one really gives a shit. Make as many illegal copies of games as you want.

look i dont know where you like but in the uk make back ups are no illegal. i read most of the copyright act and if you dont sell or give the copy its not illegal.

Making a copy of the original game is illegal, whether it`s for personal use or not.
