How could we use a Nintendo Wii from the States in Ukraine?

We purchased a Nintendo Wii from the US to use while living in Ukraine, but are concerned after we struggled to find the best way to use the xbox. Any suggestions?

I suppose it depends on the type of TV you have. The country I live in also uses the PAL system but I have a TV which has NTSC support and so the American Wii I have works just fine for me.

If your TV is dual purpose, accepts PAL or NTSC input, there will be no problem using your Wii in Ukraine. Most DVD players in Ukraine recognize both PAL and NTSC inputs, so you could hook up through that device. I’ve included directions at the 3rd link which details those hook-up directions.
